CEREx has dispatched its first international trains

CEREx has dispatched its first international trains and moved into full operation. The service of EP Logistics International connects Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary; the first runs appeared with the December 2025 timetable change on the route Dresden (Friedrichstadt) – Děčín – Kúty – Štúrovo. One of the first trains was a block train operated from Germany to Serbia.

In January 2026, CEREx launched with 2–3 train pairs per week and is gradually increasing capacity. By March, operations are expected to expand to five train pairs per week. For the 2026 timetable, eight regular train paths per week have also been secured via the Děčín branch in the Elbe Valley, enabling flexible routing through the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including during planned closures later this year.
